Platform accounts. If you use the CDL Intelligence platform, we collect account details (name, email, organization), contract documents you upload, and activity data generated through your use of the Platform.
Our website. If you join our waitlist or request a demo at cdlintelligence.ai, we collect what you submit — for a waitlist signup, your email address; for a demo request, your name, work email, company, role, contract-volume band, and any optional message — plus your IP address and browser/device information (user agent), which we collect for spam and abuse prevention on public forms. If you book a demo time, we also collect your selected date and time. We also collect aggregate website analytics (pages visited, referral source, approximate location, device and browser type) via Google Analytics 4 — see Section 8 for details.
We use your information to provide and improve the Platform, to respond to demo requests and waitlist signups, to schedule demo calls (including generating and emailing calendar invitations), to send service-related communications, and to analyze usage patterns in aggregate. IP address and user-agent data from public forms are used only to detect and prevent spam and abusive submissions. Website analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which content and pages are useful to visitors and to improve our site — not to identify individual visitors. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your Customer Content to train general-purpose AI models.
Contracts and legal documents you upload are processed solely to deliver the Platform's intelligence features. Your contract data is logically isolated from other organizations. Attorney-client privileged materials are flagged and excluded from AI training.
We retain Platform account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion or organization churn, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Waitlist signups and demo requests are retained for 24 months from your last contact with us (such as your original submission, an email reply, or a scheduled call), after which they are automatically deleted — unless you ask us to delete your data sooner, or applicable law requires a longer retention period.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, whether you hold a Platform account or simply contacted us through our website. You have the right to data portability and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@cdlintelligence.ai. If you believe we have not adequately addressed your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" (as defined under CPRA) personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring an opt-out.
If you are a resident of another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or others as they take effect), you may have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@cdlintelligence.ai. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
The Platform is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@cdlintelligence.ai and we will delete it.
CDL Intelligence does not use cookies for authentication. Platform sign-in is handled with bearer tokens stored in your browser's local storage, not cookies.
Our public website (cdlintelligence.ai) uses two third-party tools, and it loads them only if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Reject all", or make no choice, neither tool is loaded and neither sets cookies on your device.
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and content performance: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, and general usage patterns. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish visitor sessions. We have configured it with IP anonymization and without Google Signals or ads personalization.
LinkedIn Insight Tag. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertising and to understand the professional audience that visits our site. The tag is provided by LinkedIn and sets cookies in your browser. It sends LinkedIn information about your visit, such as the page address, the referring page, your IP address and device and browser characteristics. LinkedIn may associate this with a LinkedIn member profile where you are signed in to LinkedIn. Under LinkedIn's terms, LinkedIn acts as an independent controller of the data it collects through the tag; see the LinkedIn Privacy Policy for how LinkedIn uses it.
Both tools run only on our public marketing and content pages, never on the signed-in Platform. We do not use either tool to collect the contents of contracts or any other Platform data.
Your choices. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of our website. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage LinkedIn advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account settings.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), JWT authentication with short-lived access tokens, and immutable audit logs. We conduct regular security reviews.
If we become aware of a security incident that compromises the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of your personal information or Customer Content, we will notify affected customers without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law, and will provide information reasonably necessary for you to meet your own notification obligations.
CDL Intelligence is based in the United States, and your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to the extent required by applicable law.
We use the following categories of sub-processors to operate the Platform:
Waitlist and demo-request data is not currently shared with any third-party CRM, advertising, or marketing platform; if that changes, we will update this policy. All sub-processors are contractually bound to protect your data and to use it only to provide services to us. A current, detailed sub-processor list is available upon request to privacy@cdlintelligence.ai, and for enterprise customers, in the applicable Data Processing Addendum.
We will notify you of material changes to this policy by email where we have your address on file, and will always update the effective date above. Continued use of the Platform or our website constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
